2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
12 oz. milk chocolate chips
Set your oven to 375 degrees and let it heat up. Make sure the flour and baking soda are mixed up nicely, otherwise you’ll bite into a chunk of baking soda…not delicious.
Using a mixer, beat the butter, both sugars, and vanilla together. Add the eggs one at a time. SLOWLY add the flour mixture. Once it’s nicely combined, shut your mixer off and fold the chocolate chips in. Drop the dough one tablespoon at a time onto an ungreased cookie sheet (keep them about two inches apart)and bake for about 10 minutes…you’ll smell them when they’re done! Make sure the edges have browned a bit. Let them cool on the pan for a couple minutes before you mess with them!
