1 lb ground beef
1/2 vidalia onion
4 garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 cups Basic Marinara Sauce
8 cups chicken broth
1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
1 Tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
10 uncooked lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces
garnish with parmesan and mozzarella cheese
Using a large stock pot, heat the beef and onion together on medium low heat, cooking until the beef is browned. Drain the fat from the beef. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and stir quickly.
Add the Basic Marinara Sauce, 8 cups chicken broth, tomatoes, tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, basil, oregano, pepper, and lasagna noodles.
Keep the soup at a low simmer for approximately 20 minutes. once the lasagna noodles are soft, remove from heat.
Garnish and serve.
