Tina’s Almost Famous Salad Dressing

(To help you through those healthy eating kicks)

6 T   Vegetable Oil
1 T   White Balsamic Vinegar (or 1/2 apple cider vinegar and 1/2 balsamic)
1 tsp    Honey Dijon Mustard (it really has to be HONEY dijon)
1 minced garlic clove
1/4 tsp   salt
1/2 tsp   sugar

mix it all up and add it to your salad!

(By the way, don’t bother with iceberg lettuce…there really aren’t any nutrients in there. Use leaf lettuce, romaine, butterhead or endive instead. Baby Kale is always a rock star. These varieties of lettuce are filled with things like water, fiber, protein, sugar, carbohydrates, calcium, iron, magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, and beta-carotene.)
